Here’s our line-up for events for April 2018
3/29 Monthly Business Meeting at the Post/Lodge
Take note we will have a guest speaker at our meeting to do a 15 minute
Presentation on “What you can do and what you can’t do” for internment at the
DFW National Cemetery. Silvia Valdespino will be there to discuss this and

4/1 (Easter) AL 60 breakfast at the Post/Lodge
4/3 AL60 Burger night at the Post/Lodge. I need the “crew” there
4/15 AL 60 breakfast at the Post/Lodge
4/21 American Legion District 12 Spring Convention
4/26 Monthly Business Meeting at the Post/Lodge.
Take note this is our annual Officer Nomination Night. If you are interested in
being an Officer of the Post, get somebody to nominate you.

OTHER NEWS
We have received news from the Kroger Company that American Legion Post 60 has been accepted
in the Kroger Community Rewards program. This is an opportunity for the Post to received funds
without having to do much. These monies can help us with our charitable distributions.
WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO MAKE THIS WORK.
First, you must have a Kroger Plus Card. The plus card not only saves you money every time
you purchase something at a Kroger store, other than prescription medicine,
a portion of the sale goes into the Post 60 account.
You can register for a digital card (Plus card) at www.kroger.com.
Simply follow the instructions.
We are registered as American Legion Arlington Post 60 and our NPO Number is 71485.
We will have additional help and answers to any questions
you might have at our business meeting on Thursday night, March 29th.
