MESSAGE FROM THE COMMANDER
I would like to encourage you to renew your membership online at www.legion.org/renew, it's easy, fast and secure; It saves us both paper work and the price of a stamp. John Straten will have the cards at the meetings if you prefer to renew then or you can mail them to the address on the renewal notice. Have you considered being a Paid Up For Life (PUFL) Member? Check it out and see if that works for you. Post 60 has only a few events during the month of January. We encourage you to help and if you cannot help, attend events and support fundraising. It all goes to Veteran causes. We take care of our own. There will not be a Hamburger Night for the American Legion this month. Enjoy the night off. January 1 New Year’s Day – Celebrate the New Year and this year will be the 100th anniversary of the American Legion. January 6 Breakfast with the Legion (Eggs, Bacon Sausage, Pancakes, Potatoes, Biscuits, Gravy, Toast, Coffee, Milk and Orange Juice). You have to work hard to walk away hungry. We can always use the help and if you can’t help, come and support the Post by enjoying breakfast. January 20 Breakfast with the Legion.
